Cameron Eadie to stand for Scottish Greens at East Kilbride West by-election, July 6th

As your Scottish Greens councillor, Cameron will work hard to improve life for residents in East Kilbride West. Cameron was raised in East Kilbride and lives here. He is in his final year studying social & public policy, focusing on health. He has also worked as a support worker and a case officer and co-authored health research.

“I pledge to serve as your hard working councillor, listening to and acting on your concerns. Here are just a few of the issues I will push for, working on your behalf.”

  • Transport: give people better sustainable travel options, pushing for more and integrated local bus and rail services and improving the Stewartfield Way project, tackling congestion and being compatible with climate commitments.
  • Housing: save money and improve health by helping people insulate and retrofit their homes to be more energy efficient
  • Care: provide for the ageing population with a free at the point of need care service with a fair settlement for both care staff and residents
